A company built on patience and respect
Lotus Finance was founded to serve adults in Thailand who were ready to think carefully about their finances — and who deserved an approach that honoured that readiness.
Back to HomeBeginning from a simple belief
Lotus Finance was founded in Bangkok by educators and financial practitioners who had spent years working with adults navigating major life transitions — retirement planning, supporting ageing parents, helping adult children while protecting their own futures.
What they found, consistently, was that the existing financial education landscape moved too fast, assumed too much, and rarely acknowledged the specific circumstances of people in their forties, fifties, and beyond in Thailand.
So they started again. Lotus Finance is the result — a company with a single focus: offering thoughtful, unhurried financial education to adults who are ready to engage, on their own terms.
Our mission
"To make financial clarity available to every adult in Thailand who seeks it — not through urgency or pressure, but through careful, considered education."
The people behind the programs
Every course at Lotus Finance has been shaped by practitioners who have worked directly with adult learners — not researchers or theorists, but educators with real experience in the room.
Anchalee Prasert
Program Director
Anchalee has over eighteen years of experience developing adult financial education programs across Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on family finance within Thai cultural norms.
Kasem Wongchai
Curriculum Lead
Kasem brings a background in Thai estate and succession law to his work designing the Long View Planning course, ensuring the material is legally grounded and practically useful.
Nattaya Suthiwan
Learner Experience
Nattaya oversees how course materials are presented and paced, drawing on her decade of work in adult learning design to make complex topics feel genuinely approachable.
How we hold ourselves accountable
The quality of our programs is something we take seriously. These are the principles and practices we apply consistently across every course we offer.
Adult Education Principles
Our curriculum design follows established frameworks for adult learning, recognising that adults absorb material differently — and more effectively — when it connects to lived experience.
Legal Accuracy
All references to Thai financial law, succession frameworks, and regulatory matters are reviewed annually to ensure they remain accurate and appropriately scoped for an educational context.
Privacy Protection
Learner data is handled with care and protected in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act. We do not sell or share enrollment information with third parties.
Ongoing Feedback
Every course includes a structured feedback process at each module. We read these responses carefully and use them to refine the material on a regular basis.
Cultural Sensitivity
Course materials are developed with Thai family structures, communication styles, and social expectations in mind — not adapted from foreign templates but built from the ground up.
Professional Affiliations
Lotus Finance is affiliated with the Thailand Financial Planning Association and participates in regional adult education networks to stay current with emerging best practices.
Financial education should feel like a conversation, not an exam
Lotus Finance operates from a central conviction: that adults who have spent decades building families, careers, and savings deserve an educational experience that treats that history as an asset. Our courses draw on learners' existing knowledge rather than asking them to set it aside.
Based in Pathum Wan, Bangkok, we serve participants from across Thailand — working adults, people approaching retirement, and those who find themselves responsible for the financial wellbeing of both their children and their parents simultaneously. Each course is designed to address real circumstances with honesty and care.
