These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Lotus Finance website and any course you enrol in with us. By accessing our website or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Definitions
- "Lotus Finance", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Lotus Finance, operated from 156 Ratchadamri Road, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand.
- "Course" — any of the educational programs offered by Lotus Finance, including Family Finance Conversations After Forty, A Gentle Introduction to Personal Investing, and Long View Planning: Estate and Succession.
- "You", "User", "Learner" — any individual accessing our website or enrolled in a course.
- "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy.
- "Materials" — all written content, worksheets, frameworks, and resources provided as part of a course.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting our website or enrolling in a course, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under Thai law. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our website or enrolling in a course.
3. Description of Services
Lotus Finance offers self-paced educational courses on personal financial topics for adults aged 40 and above. Courses are delivered online and include written modules, worksheets, and planning frameworks. The Long View Planning course additionally includes two optional educational conversations with a program guide.
Our courses are educational in nature and do not constitute financial, legal, investment, or tax advice. Nothing in our course materials should be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice specific to your individual circumstances.
4. Enrollment and Account
To enrol in a course, you will need to provide accurate contact and payment details. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
Course access is granted to the individual enrollee only and may not be shared or transferred without our prior written consent.
5. Course Access and Materials
Upon successful enrollment and payment, you will be granted access to the relevant course materials. There are no fixed deadlines for completion. Materials are available for the lifetime of your enrollment.
Course materials, including all worksheets and planning documents, are provided for your personal educational use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any materials without our express written permission.
6. User Responsibilities
By enrolling, you agree to:
- Use course materials solely for your own personal educational development
- Respect the intellectual property of Lotus Finance and its educators
- Not share login credentials or course access with others
- Engage with optional guide conversations in good faith for educational purposes
The following uses are prohibited:
- Reproducing or reselling course materials in any form
- Misrepresenting our course content as your own
- Using the website for any unlawful purpose
7. Intellectual Property
All course content, including text, worksheets, frameworks, and planning documents, is the intellectual property of Lotus Finance unless otherwise stated. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your personal educational purposes during the period of your enrollment.
This licence does not include the right to reproduce, republish, or create derivative works from our materials.
8. Fees and Payment
Course Fees
- Family Finance Conversations After Forty — ฿3,790
- A Gentle Introduction to Personal Investing — ฿7,190
- Long View Planning: Estate and Succession — ฿10,790
All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (THB) and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required. Payment is due at the time of enrollment.
Payment Arrangements
If you wish to discuss alternative payment arrangements, please contact us before enrolling. We may, at our discretion, accommodate instalment payment arrangements for individual learners.
Refunds
If you have not accessed any course modules within 14 days of enrollment, you may request a full refund by contacting us at [email protected]. Once course materials have been accessed, refunds are not available except in exceptional circumstances, which we will consider on a case-by-case basis.
9. Optional Guide Conversations (Long View Planning)
Two optional one-to-one sessions with a program guide are included in the Long View Planning course. These sessions are educational in nature and are intended to help you understand the course material as it may relate to your personal circumstances.
These sessions do not constitute legal, financial, or tax advice. Lotus Finance's program guides are educators, not licensed legal practitioners or financial advisers. Any decisions you make about your estate, insurance policies, or other financial arrangements remain your own responsibility.
10. Disclaimers
Our courses and all associated materials are provided for educational purposes only. Lotus Finance does not warrant that the information provided will be suitable for your individual situation or that any particular outcome will result from completing a course.
While we review all course content for accuracy and update it annually, we do not guarantee that all information will be current or free from error at all times. You should seek independent professional advice before making any significant financial, legal, or estate-related decisions.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Lotus Finance's liability to you in connection with any course or use of our website is limited to the fees you paid for the relevant course. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss or damage arising from your use of our services or course materials.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate your access to a course if you breach these terms, with or without prior notice. You may discontinue your use of a course at any time, subject to the refund policy above.
Upon termination, your licence to use course materials ends. We may retain personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

14. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the full agreement between you and Lotus Finance regarding use of our services.
- Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these terms without our prior written consent.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or courses after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
